There's something very beautiful, mysterious and eerie about Arizona. I had the pleasure of driving through the desert on my way to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. It was absolutely an incredible experience. The strangest thing I noticed as we were driving was there were these tiny communities. A couple miles from the main highway you could see trailers sprinkled in the mountains. I can't imagine living there as it would be very isolated. I guess there are some people who crave privacy or perhaps they gambled their money away in Las Vegas' casinos. My only regret is I didn't stop to explore but time was an issue and when you're that far in the middle of nowhere you pretty much fend for yourself.
"Whatcha got ain't nothin' new. This country's hard on people, you can't stop what's coming, it ain't all waiting on you. That's vanity."
